SD/SDHC Memory Card *1 Recording
Image data can be stored without a network connection simply by inserting an SD/SDHC Memory Card into the camera.
In the HCM5 series, SD/SDHC Memory Card can be swapped even without a PC. Making it possible to use a single camera unit as a monitoring device in places where a power source is available, but installation of network or other cables is problematic.

The SD/SDHC Memory Card can record audio as well as video data for an even higher level of monitoring quality. Video monitoring with sound enhances security by providing additional information that images cannot convey.

Saving incidental images
Buffered images *1
Image can temporarily saved in the camera's internal memory. This can be combined with the built-in human detection sensor, motion detection function, timer, and other functions to save only desired scenes and check them in the order of occurrence.
*1 Note that buffered images are deleted when the power to the camera is turned off.

Recording Program *
Video data can be downloaded to a PC using optional software. In stores, this allows for more detailed monitoring of customer behavior, and of employee attidutes toward customers, information that cannot be obtained from still images alone.
* Recording is possible for only one camera. To record images from multiple cameras, use the BB-HNP11 or BB-HNP15.
